2006 Scion xB Release Series 4.0
Already cashing in on its unique and youthful looks, Scion is set to release another vehicle that will make your teenager (or the teenager in you) line up in the dealerships: the Scion xB Release Series 4.0 - the final Scion limited edition vehicle of the year arrives next month.

The new Scion kid in town sports a one of a kind Maziora Torched Penny paint - a color-shifting finish that changes depending on your viewing angle and/or how light plays off the car's surface. The colors morph into shades of brown, bronze, and gold.

According to Autoblog, this particular color scheme has been used in Japan already on various show cars and on a JDM special-edition bB. While not everyone will relish the thought of driving a color-morphing vehicle, Scion – with its market full of people who will enjoy the attention - will have no trouble finding 2500 takers for the multi-colored miniwagon.

The Release Series 4.0 is also equipped with a rear spoiler, Modellista grille, and rear bumper protector. Everything's color-keyed, of course. Inside, it is emphasized that what you’re riding is a Release Series Scion. The wagon also gets multicolor dash lighting, a new shift knob (on cars with manual transmissions), and a numbered plaque.

The vehicle comes at the xB base price of $14,030, plus an additional $1,930 (automatic) or $1,980 (manual).
