As usual, when it comes to hybrid cars, nothing will ever beat the all time best hybrid car of the world - the Toyota Prius. Just recently, the Kelley Blue Book released the results of its survey and the Prius got the Overall Champ spot among the thirteen vehicles presented.
We can never deny the fact that hybrid cars are on demand nowadays. US has the famous strict government emission standards and so car makers have to do more efforts on building new cars so that these would come having better fuel efficiency. China and Japan were also noted to be greener as well. Europe is also practicing the same eco-friendly features on their cars.
The Kelley Blue Book made the Top 13 Great Fuel-Efficient Cars. These thirteen cars have undergone several evaluations before they were given the awards on the different categories. It was a little surprising that Honda got only two of 13 categories presented. The leader of hybrid cars won the small sedan and the minivan categories - the Honda Civic Hybrid and the Honda Odyssey respectively. Honda said that they will do efforts to improve the Civic Hybrid as they plan to set a competition with the Prius.
The list also shows that European cars are also making good names in fuel efficiency technology. We all knew about the reputation of Euro cars right but now I guess they are making a good name on the green market.
